CBS newly Elected Officers for 2010

The Cebu Bloggers Society held its 2nd General Assembly last May 1, 2010 (labor day) at North 2 lobby, Parkmall Cebu.I would like to thank all CBS members who attended and remained until the end of the event. They have witnessed the oath taking of the new set of 15 Board of Trustees.

Greet, Meet and Eat at SM City Cebu Foodcourt

After the grand opening of free Wi-fi Service at the Cebu’s grand mall, SM City Cebu, the SM Foodcourt Management tapped the most influential blogger community of the Visayas, Cebu Bloggers Society, for their first ever Food Bloggers Event entitled Asia-in-a-Basket Food Blogger’s Meet. So what is this Food event all about? Asia-in-a-Basket catered and showcased all foods, desserts, pastries, drinks and refreshments of Asian restaurant and food booth which are dedicated to be partners and food tenants of the station for years already.

GREET
SM City Cebu Foodcourt is a great ground for greetings and meetings. Their entertainment section can show lots of amusement scenes most especially every during weekends and celebrity or movie mall shows. With this, entertainment is indeed a free to sight.

MEET
Meetings and other social discussions can also be done in SM Foodcourt tables. With their mallwide free wi-fi service, students, professionals, and other customers can bring with them their laptop and any other wi-fi enabled gadgets which includes notebook, PSP, and others.

EAT
The main service that SM FoodCourt can offer are their sumptuous and delectable foods, desserts, refreshments and other delicacies that can be chosen in the left and right line-up of Food booths and stands. With the self-service type of food venue, customers can freely choose what they want in any booth and can eat anywhere as long as you feel comfortable and at ease.

During the Asia-in-a-Basket Food Blogger’s Meet, lots of Cebu’s food icons/brands showed their talent in food dressing/designing and displaying their yummy and tasty specialties and best sellers. Some of the food event participants are the following:

Golden Bowl Dimsum – which is very well known of their Steam Rice.
Ric’s Barbecue – i love their pochero and barbecue
Island Grill Express – they are specializing the Ilonggo and Cebuano dishes “sinugba”
Venetian Coffee break and Desserts – i love the taste of their Apple pie which is bested with their Capuccino.
Thirsty Fresh Fruit Juices and Shakes – the station which i always visit every time i go to SM and i used to purchased their banana Split and Pandan Shake.
FountainHead – They are known with their yummy black forest cake.
Mama Gie – I love their Boneless Bangus, yummy!
Fishport – What is dominant in my plate on that day is their Grilled Tuna Belly
New Mongolian Express & Dimsum – You must try their Fish Fillet Sweet and Sour
Fiesta Cebuana – Grilled Squid is the best.
Kingwah Chinese Cuisine – They offer their best seller CHicken Pandan and Patatim
Smokey’s – Famous with their Hotdog on sticks…yummy!
