Update (07/15/2010) : Attached below is the new logo of CIT – University or CIT-University logo. This is not yet final. Inauguration will be held on July 21, 2010.

Update (07/08/2010) : Effective TODAY, Cebu Institute Technology is named CIT-University. From now on, CIT is still an acronym. CIT-U tops again!

Update: CIT executive officers, Department Heads and different representatives of School Organizations including CIT-SSG are on a meeting. Per Allan Llevares, CIT SSG President, announcement of CIT as CIT University is possibly done by this afternoon or before the day ends.

  10. why still using CIT??? even though its a name already and not an acronym but still its very confusing to others. there are lots of names that can be applied to CIT. but still Congratulations!!! at last university na kau… Hindi na kau iba sa amin… hehehe

  23. wa jd mo ka realize ani? university na, institute pa..KABATI ani oy..wa jd ka basa ang admin dha sa CIT ani nga blog? hastang! ako graduate ko dha nga skul but bati kau not proud to be a CIT product..hahayz..hope that they will change this before 2012(gaan tag 1 year)..ADMIN, basa2x sad mog mga suggestions oy,comment number 9 is a good suggestion.

  27. hoi mga bugwits! mga palahubog na technologian! dnt u knw that CIT is one of the accredited and top list schools in Singapore meaning sikat ang CIT sa Singapore so am proud of to be a technologian so i dont mind if they are now university atleast we made it all the the way even before they are using Institute…because CIT always top of the list…. so way to go CIT!!
