Why do mothers act like that?

Today, i know every Filipino here and anywhere in the world celebrates Manny Pacquiao’s victory against his opponent Mexican-American, David Diaz, for beating him in KO at round 9 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Saturday (Sunday in Philippines) which made him garnered his fourth title.

But the real thing today was ….. my family problem.

I really do not know why some mothers do act like that..
I love my mother but when she have done something wrong in general,
i really did not or never tolerate such acts..

Just like earlier today, maybe around 11-12 noon (the time when i received text messages that Pacman won the game), my mother came home from her Sunday responsibility, she was angry, asking or i may say hitting words to us, spelling some bad words, but i do admit someone in our family done wrong which made her act like that. But it is not a valid reason for her to do that…
At first, i was okay and thought that her anger will pass by as time goes in, but it was getting worst when she and my 2nd elder sister (who is 7 months pregnant) fought with each other, not physically but with words in High and irritable tone. I will not elaborate or expand what really the root of this Damness! but It made me a high-tempered individual and had responded angrily to my mother’s statement. I was sorry for that, and as of this writing, i do not talk or even take a look to my mother’s face coz as of this writing the anger i feel is still existing.

And because of this, i was not able to attend to the davao and cebu bloggers meet up, i am really sorry to winston, kevin, kuya blogie and others since at first i was not sure if I could make it, but last Saturday night, i decided to attend until this b*tchiness happened.

I envy Daniel’s last post, he is giving importance to our so called “FAMILY TIES” traits that maybe until now do lives in our Filipino hearts, but sometimes that trait leads to misunderstanding, hatred and even disablement of the family as a loving community and comfort zone of each members.

I hope it will not come to ours but help me pray i can manage to have the guts to talk with my Mother and correct her of what she had done, i really love my family…

  1. baka nabigla lang ang mom mo… nagkapasan-pasan na rin siguro ang problema. baka sobrang mabigat kaya she acted in such manner. parang ikaw, when the argument between your mom and sis got worst, you (unintentionally) hurt your mom with all your anger.
i am sure you’ll all surpass this. believe me, this normally happened to every family. in short time, everything will be just fine. ’cause “HOME is where the HEART is.”

(wow! may grand EB pala ang cebu-davao bloggers. sayang di ka nakarating. cheer up! may next time pa naman.)

  3. bale sometimes parents act that way may of nervous breakdown or may be crisis lang
hayaan mo nalang muna if you feel not talking then go ahead don’t talk to her muna…
then again she is still your mother no matter what

cool it down first then talk

i also have problem remember mo un text ko sa iyo “i’m sad” its also about family 😦

anyway its normal part of life and sooner the storm will past.
