Discovering Cebu: Mamma Maria’s Pizzeria

The Cebu Bloggers Society [CBS] was invited to witness and taste the opening of the Home of the Biggest Pizza in the World, Mamma Maria’s Pizzeria. This is in coordination of our Celebrity member, Mcbilly and the MMP Management.

Me and the CBS

Independence Day was never been a very normal day for Filipinos especially the CBS as they have celebrated it with Pizza on the tables. At first,i thought I, together with Zyra and Blair, couldn’t make it to this event for it was raining very hard in our place in Mandaue City. Just when, Orville and his group texted me, it was a hint that the affair will pursue.

We arrived at Ayala Center Cebu, Terraces outside the Sunburst at around 5:00 pm, meet and greet happened and it was a special afternoon because Paul Villacorta visited the group but was sad when he confessed that he stopped blogging.

When the group was completed, we headed to the place at Gorordo Avenue, 888 building near Aerophone. We walked from Ayala to the said location, and it was our strategy in order to eat a lot when that one of a kind pizza will be served. (ayt, Empress?!)

Mamma Maria and the Pizza

I haven’t had the time to ask the owner for who really is Mamma Maria and what is the history behind this legendary pizza. But anyhow, i got a lot of moments taking pictures with the owner of that branch and savouring the moment tasting the biggest pizza in the world which had conquered the Philippines since 2005.

Mamma Maria Pizzeria offers a Number of choices for pizza, 20 old and 7 new different pizzas will bring you to satisfaction served with your preferred drinks, like iced tea (as everyone love to), canned soft drinks, or even beer. As i remembered, the management served the CBS with their mouth watering Large size new offered Pizzas; the Crocodile Pizza, Kinilaw Pizza, and the 2 in 1 Pizza which is a combination of two different Pizzas; Mamma Mia and the other with Bacon (i cannot remember but it was either Carousel or Romeo). And not just Pizza, they can offer Pasta, from Bolognese, Bola Bola to Carbonara and you can have some add ons to your pasta with just 20-33 PHP.

So much for that, the MMP Cebu City branch offers a free Wi-Fi, thus they can allow Bloggers like us to hang around or have a meeting for free even without ordering Pizza.
